Where are your properties?
Most of our properties for professionals are studios and one-bedroom apartments in central Hove, but we do have some in other areas of Brighton.

What information will you need from me?
Once you’ve found a property you like we’ll need to get personal details and references for each tenant. You will also need to provide us with your employer’s details (or your accounts or bank statements if you’re self-employed) to prove that you can afford the rent. We’ll explain everything in our first meeting with you.

What will I need to pay up front?
Residential tenants – You usually won’t need a deposit to rent with us, and most of our properties are furnished and include broadband too.

You’ll also need to set up a standing order with your bank so that your rent reaches us on the due date each month.

Security Deposit not usually required.  If we do take a Security Deposit it will be placed in a nationally recognised tenancy deposit protection scheme.

No Agency Fees.

A Holding Deposit of £100 is required to secure the property. This is then used as part payment of your first month’s rent on signing of the Tenancy Agreement.

Renewing Tenancy Agreement – No Charge.

How long is the tenancy agreement for?
Most of our tenancy agreements are for either six months or a year.

Do you accept housing benefit?
No, we do not currently accept housing benefit.

What costs might I have to pay during and after my tenancy? (No VAT charges to pay).
Missed rent reminder letter – £15.00.
Missed rent solicitor’s letter – £30.00.
Replacement for lost standard key – £10.00 per key. Collect from office or £25.00 if we deliver to you.
Replacement for lost Multi-lock security key – £20.00. Collect from office or £25.00 if we deliver to you.
Cleaning of the property – £10 per hour per cleaner. a 6 bed house usually around £250.00 total.
Client money protection with CMP.
